And now that's 10 goals in 10 games, just 1 back of Brett Hull for 4th all-time!

Age? What's that?
Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin laughs at all the experts who said he'd slow down this season at age 36.
We're just 10 games into the 2021-22 regular season and Ovechkin already has himself 10 goals on the campaign. He's the NHL's leading scorer by a mile and he's showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.
With another goal again this evening against the Florida Panthers' Spencer Knight, Ovechkin has officially scored on his 150th NHL goaltender.
Just think about that for a moment... this guy has ripped a puck past 150 different NHL goaltenders over the course of his career. That's just an insane statistic to me... how many guys have even played against 150 goaltenders, let alone scored on them?
Oh... and if that's not enough, Ovechkin is now officially just one goal shy of tying Brett Hull on the NHL's all-time goals scored list with 741 career regular season goals. If it weren't for Gary Bettman's lockouts there's a very real possibility that Ovechkin would be within striking distance of Wayne Gretkzy's all-time record of 894 right now. As it is, he'll have at to keep up this pace for at least a few more years. It seems likely that he'll pass Jaromir Jagr for 3rd all time at 766 goals and... man... he might even catch Gordie Howe in 2nd spot at 801 goals!
The legend of Ovi continues!
