Latest Brady Tkachuk trade rumour fuels heated debate across the NHL!

Is there a major trade incoming involving not just one but two Tkachuk brothers? Full story below:

Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk already had tons of attention of him prior to the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament playing for the United States, and it has only multiplied since. We all saw what he is capable of, but on top of that, we all got to see the magic that he created with his older brother Matthew Tkachuk as teammates. The brothers have only shared the ice as teammates with Matthew in international competitions, however, insider Andy Strickland recently suggested that the two brothers could be brought back together in a monster trade.

On Thursday’s episode of “The Cam & Strick Podcast,” Strickland suggested that Brady Tkachuk’s departure from Ottawa is inevitable, adding that he will try to team up with Matthew. He also mentions how it just feels like Brady would leave Canada to join play an American team (just like his brother and father did in the past).

Strickland’s rumour got people talking and created havoc on social media since as fans, especially in Ottawa, dismissing the speculation, while others suggested the possibility of a future Tkachuk brothers reunion in Florida or with the Blues in St. Louis, where they were raised.

Strickland was accused of fabricating rumors, though the fact does remain that Matthew Tkachuk forced the Calgary Flames to trade him two summers ago. He ultimately landed with the Florida Panthers.

And so, it does make sense that Brady would eventually want to do the same and move to a U.S.-based team. He’s been linked in the past to the New York Rangers, though the desire to be teammates with his older brother could trump all.

Let’s keep an eye on this one as fans are still pondering this one, and surely reacting to it!
