With his ninth goal of the post-season this evening Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman moves into a tie with Hall of Famer Paul Coffey for the most playoff goals scored AHEAD of the Stanley Cup Final.

The total record, including the Stanley Cup Finals, is 12 goals set by Coffey with the Edmonton Oilers in 1985. A record that at one time seemed nearly impossible to break. But with the way that Hedman has been playing lately, would you be surprised to see him score another four goals to break Coffey's record. Not a chance. The guy is legit.
