Zeev Buium undresses everyone at World Junior Showcase.

This is one first round pick that looks like he is going to make a big impact on his team in the future.

The Minnesota Wild and their fans may have something to get very excited about.

Although it is still too early to make any grand proclamations about what he will eventually do at the National Hockey League level, their first round pick this year is already raising some eyebrows and dropping some jaws down to the floor.

That young man is of course 12th overall selection at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft Zeev Buium and over the weekend Buium got the chance to show the world what he is all about in a major way. Buium and many other young players are participating in the World Junior Summer Showcase and in a recent game against the Swedes, the American defenseman stole the show early in the game's first period.

Buium did seemingly whatever he wanted with the puck on the play, dancing around any of the opposition players that tried to get in his way before executing a spin-o-rama type move, firing his shot off at the net, and putting it in the back of the goal.

Buium is coming off a solid season at the University of Denver, one that saw him record 11 goals and 39 assists for 50 points in just 42 games, and if he keeps putting up highlights like this it won't be long before we see him get his crack at the NHL.
