TJ Oshie accused of scamming his fans online
The veteran Capitals forward issued a statement today.

Washington Capitals forward TJ Oshie is coming under fire online for allegedly defrauding fans with a crypto currency scam on Twitter (X.com).
This past weekend Oshie shared two posts online that re-directed fans to two different crypto-currency platforms, encouraging folks to pump up his new personal platform called $OSHIE.

One fan in particular has been aggressively tweeting at Capitals, claiming that he was scammed by Oshie and then Oshie blocked his account online.

Yikes...
Today, Oshie confirmed that his Twitter account was, in fact, hacked and that scammers took over control of his account.
The Capitals haven't issued any kind of statement and it's not clear yet whether or not Oshie has reached out to any fans to make things right. Stay tuned.
