Steven Stamkos officially ties Martin St. Louis as Lightning's all-time points leader
Is Stamkos the greatest player in Lightning history?

In this evening's 4-3 loss to the Detroit Red Wings, Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos officially tied Martin St. Louis as the Lightning's all-time leader in points with 953.
After the game, Stamkos had a few thoughts on his mind concerning the record and his relationship with his good friend and former teammate.
"Definitely have Marty on my mind tonight. He still means a lot to me & what I’ve become as a person & as a player & just the role model that he's been to me. To have your name right up there with the great Marty St. Louis is pretty humbling, pretty surreal."
The pair are obviously a pretty decorated duo... but with Stamkos tying St. Louis it got me thinking... is Stamkos the greatest player in Lightning history? He may not have the personal accolades that St. Louis has, but he has captained the Bolts to two Stanley Cups and he may add some more to his resume before things are all said and done.
