Sidney Crosby gets cuts and scares fans and teammates as he exits

On Tuesday night, the Pittsburgh Penguins visited the Predators in Nashville and captain Sidney Crosby was on the ice to put on a show. Moments after the puck drop, the Pens’ captain started trending on Twitter and you know it’s either because of a fantastic goal or that fans are freaking out because something bad happened.

Well, it was because of the latter and quickly fans pointed out that Crosby had exit the game after an awkward collision with Predators’ Mattias Ekholm.

The replay showed that Ekholm’s skate blade stepped on Crosby’s arm and then, as he made his way down the tunnel, we could notice a tear in his uniform

Crosby returned moments later as he probably went out for a quick check-up and a new jersey.

And then, he was back on the ice and stopped trending.
