This fight had everything!

It was a tense game all along last night during the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers, and during the second period, it culminated to a fast and furious fight between Hampus Lindholm and Sam Bennett.
After the whistle, both players started getting into it and poking at one another, with Bennett knocking the helmet of his opponent and assuming nothing was going to come of it. However, Lindholm had other plans in mind and once the Panthers’ forward grinned at him, he threw a sucker punch that landed right on Bennett’s mouth.
The Panthers’ centre immediately reacted and punched Lindholm as things escalated quite quickly with Bennett rag dolling the Bruins’ defenseman. Bennett landed a few tough shots at Lindholm, who was laying face first on the ice, before they were separated and sent to the penalty box.
This was Lindholm’s first major fighting penalty in his NHL career. Bennett was also penalized with a major for his role in the fight.
This altercation seemed to be what could be in store for both teams if ever they end up meeting in a round of the upcoming playoffs this spring.
I would love to see those two teams, and Bennett and Lindholm, battle again with this type of intensity!
Later in that same period, it was captain Brad Marchand’s turn to drop the gloves with a much bigger opponent in Niko Mikkola:
