Rumor: New Golden Knights Jersey has been leaked!

Multiple sources are reporting the news.

We have a pretty big rumor to report, one that now appears to have been corroborated by multiple different sources.

In the late hours of Saturday evening a man named Ali Murji took to twitter to share a somewhat blurry image of what he claimed to be the brand new reverse retro jersey for the Las Vegas Golden Knights, one that he claimed would be used for their Reverse Retro 2.0. That means that, according to Ali Murji, these jerseys are set to be released this coming season.

The jerseys are black, yellow and red and the full kit features a number of nice little features like a sword appearing on the side of the player's pants.

First here's a look at the original tweet from Ali Murji along with the images he shared via social media:

There were plenty of reasons to be skeptical about this announcement however, and fans were quick to express those along with their doubts about the authenticity of this news from Ali Murji.

For starters the quality of the picture wasn't the best which immediately created doubts in the minds of some, but on top of that the player featured wearing that jersey was former Las Vegas Golden Knights forward Alex Tuch. Since Tuch was sent to the Buffalo Sabres as part of the Jack Eichel trade back in 2021, many did not believe that this was an authentic photo for the new jerseys.

While those doubts certainly make sense, we now have a second source speaking out on this topic and they have confirmed that Ali Murji's reporting is in fact accurate. The jersey specialists over at Icethetics are now reporting that "multiple sources" have been able to confirm that this is indeed the authentic product, and furthermore have gone on to confirm that these jerseys will indeed be used for this upcoming season.

We're still calling this one a rumor because it has not as of yet been officially confirmed, however this does appear to be the real deal.
