Reports that Todd McLellan has a new NHL head coaching job
The right fit for a team in transition?
John Buccigross of ESPN is reporting that the Columbus Blue Jackets have hired veteran NHL coach Todd McLellan as the team's next head coach.
Check it out:
McLellan, of course, was let go from his job with the Los Angeles Kings this past season, a job he had held since 2019. He has coached in the NHL for nearly 20 years at this point and has had stints as head coach with the Kings, Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks.
Stay tuned for official confirmation of McLellan's hiring.
