Yes! Bring back Hasek, Peca, Barnaby and Afinogenov while you're at it!

According to a report from the NHL jersey insiders out at Icethetics, the Buffalo Sabres will be bringing back their vintage "Buffalo Head" logo and red/black/silver jerseys as an alternate uniform in 2022-23.

Check it out:

Personally, I much prefer the Sabres' classic blue/gold look, but I do have a soft spot in my heart for the red/black/silver jerseys that the team wore from 1996 until 2006. Mostly because that's what Hall of Famer Dominik Hasek was wearing when he was playing out of his mind for the Sabres. Need I remind you what this period in Sabres history looked like?

Pretty bad ass, if you ask me.

Unfortunately for the Sabres, this period in history also looked like this:

But I digress...

Again, personally I prefer the classic look that the Sabres have brought back in recent years and I'm doing my very best to forget about the awful "Buffaslug" phase that they went through in the 2000s...
