Prospect Graeme Clarke shares hilarious Minnesota Wild origin story

That's as homegrown as they come!

Trevor Connors

Minnesota Wild prospect Graeme Clarke is attending his first training camp as a member of the team after an offseason trade with the New Jersey Devils.

The 23 year old native of Waconia, Minnesota is doing his best to crack the Wild's defensive corps after making his NHL debut for the Devils last season. The thing is... he may have a leg up on his teammates given his Wild Origin Story.

You see, Clarke is not just some Minnesota kid who grew up watching the Wild. He was watching the team's birth before he was even born himself.

Huh?

Check it out:

Clarke attending the Wild's franchise opening game way back in 2000, while still inside his pregnant mother. How's THAT for an Origin Story?!?! This guy lays claim to the stake of 'most homegrown talent of all time'... at least in Minnesota Wild history.

Take a seat Brock Faber, there's a new Golden Boy in Minny lol
