Peter Laviolette, Travis Greene scream at one another from benches
The two coaches nearly went at it!

It was utter chaos to start tonight's game at Madison Square Garden between the host New York Rangers and visiting New Jersey Devils. All five skaters for both clubs immediately dropped the gloves and went at it following the opening puck drop at center ice, resulting in eight ejections before the game was even five seconds old.
And during the initial melee, the head coaches of both teams in Peter Laviolette and Travis Greene decided to get in on the fun by engaging in a shouting match at one another from their respective benches, while analyst Darren Pang had himself a first class seat to the raucous.
This is not the first time that Laviolette has done this, as you may remember. Back in 2012 prior to the legendary Round 1 playoff series between the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins, Laviolette climbed on top of the bench to bark at then-Penguins coach Dan Bylsma:
