And it ended with another LEGENDARY Wes McCauley fighting call for your ears. Watch it all below:
Toronto Maple Leafs’ Matthew Knies was out for revenge on Wednesday night. He immediately dropped the gloves with Golden Knights’ Zach Whitecloud off the opening face-off in Vegas after the latter gave the Leafs’ forward a suspected concussion in Toronto earlier this season.
In the first game since the incident, Knies wanted to make Whitecloud pay, and he sure did.
Knies drilled Whitecloud with some many lefts, the Golden Knights defenseman was begging for a right.
The scene ended the only way it should with referee Wes McCauley making another legendary fighting call as both players headed to the box.
