One fan ruins first overall selection for Macklin Celebrini!

It was no surprise to anyone when the San Jose Sharks selected star center Macklin Celebrini of Boston University with the first overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft on Friday night.

However, it did not mean that fans could ruin the night for the young player. As soon as the event got underway, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman welcomed everyone to the Sphere and you could already hear the fan in question yelling for the draft to start.

Then, when the name of Macklin Celebrini was announced by former San Jose Sharks great Joe Thornton, the fan was yelling so loudly that it ruined the moment.
