One Eastern conference team “all-in” on Brady Tkachuk despite Senators’ reluctance

Interesting trade rumour:

Chris Gosselin

Rumours emerged ahead of the March deadline that even captain Brady Tkachuk could landed on the trade block. The younger of the Tkachuk brothers is a star player that would draw the interest of several teams, however, a new report has surfaced that one team from the Eastern Conference is so into what Brady Tkachuk can bring to a roster that it’d be willing to go all in on the gritty forward.

It’s been mentioned by Vince Mercogliano that the New York Rangers are dreaming of acquiring Brady Tkachuk and that general manager Chris Drury would be willing to go all in to get his services in the Big Apple.

“Brady Tkachuk is the name many Rangers’ fans are dreaming of, but there doesn’t seem to be much of an appetite on the Senators’ part. If that were to change, the belief is that Drury would be all in.”

On Monday night, Brady Tkachuk saw his older brother Matthew hoist the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers and both siblings predicted that Bradu would do the same in the future.

Will it be in Ottawa with the Senators, or could it come down to a major trade that sends the captain to a true contender, possibly like the Rangers? Let’s not forget how New York fell to the Panthers in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals.

And when Drury wants something, he rarely lets it go and if the Senators have to make a move involving Tkachuk, the Rangers’ general manager will reportedly do all he can to get him in New York City.
