Mic’d up Brad Marchand teases Sidney Crosby in Canada’s dressing room in exclusive video!
This is hilarious! The Bruins’ captain turns into the club’s biggest fan in the video below:
It was an electric opener for the 4-nations tournament on Wednesday night when Team Canada got the overtime win over Sweden. The one and only Sidney Crosby collected three assists, including the setup for Mitch Marner’s winner at 6:06 of 3-on-3 overtime, as Canada edged Sweden 4-3.
The game ended hot and started off in similar fashion when Crosby combined Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid power-play to set up Nathan MacKinnon’s power-play goal just 56 seconds into the first period.
After the game, the Canadian boys were celebrating in the room, when a mic’d up Brad Marchand, who also recorded a goal in the win, walked to his stall and praised Crosby, admitting that he himself was becoming a fan.
The video was posted by NHL and the Boston Bruins to share this exclusive look into Team Canada’s dressing room after their riveting opener to the tournament. It’s hilarious!
“Man, you guys are fun to watch,” Marchand said to his teammates. “I might be the biggest fan here.”
“Risky play there at the end 8-7,” Marchand said to Crosby. “Eh? Between the legs, back to our zone? Not a big deal. He decided to go for a loop down in the corner after too. Almost went offside.”
