Matvei Michkov is getting the full Philly treatment this offseason.
The Philadelphia Flyers' top pick officially joined the team earlier this month, signing his entry level deal with the Flyers after being released from his contract with the KHL's Sochi HC.
Today, Michkov was at Citizen Bank Park to throw out the first pitch for the Philadelphia Phillies' game against the visiting New York Yankees.

Top prospect Matvei Michkov has officially joined the Philadelphia Flyers. The 7th overall selection in last year's NHL Entry Draft touched down in Philly earlier today wearing a bright red Phillies hat where he was picked up by Flyers brass Daniel Briere and Keith Jones.

The 19 year old Michkov is expected to make an immediate impact on the Flyers' roster and factor into the top six forward groupings in his rookie campaign. Get ready, Philly... this kid is the real deal. He put up 19 goals and 41 points in 47 games last season as a teenager in the KHL.
