Major update on Thatcher Demko's potentially playoff ending injury

UPDATE: TSN insider Farhan Lalji is now reporting that the injury to Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko is to the same knee that cost him to miss 5 weeks earlier this season. Lalji reports though that's it appears to be unrelated to the previous injury... even if it's the same knee affected.

This just in, according to a report from NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko is injured and his status is questionable for the remainder of the team's first round series against the Nashville Predators.

Canucks insider Rick Dhaliwal confirms Friedman's report and adds that this might be a new injury and is not related to the hip surgeries that Demko has undergone the past couple seasons. Friedman was on the Pat McAfee show earlier today where he broke the news live.
