Huge update on injured Rangers star Adam Fox.
The Rangers appear poised to get a big boost to their lineup sooner rather than later.
The New York Rangers got some great news on Monday morning when star defenseman Adam Fox made an appearance during the team's morning skate.
Fox, who has been out of the lineup due to injury since November 2nd, was a full participant in practice and was seen wearing a regular jersey.
Although this would appear to signal that Fox will return for today's game against the Buffalo Sabres, that is actually not the case. Fox is not eligible to return until Wednesday's game against the Detroit Red Wings due to the Rangers placing Fox on injured reserve.
Fox is not only a core part of the Rangers blue line but is considered to be among the very best defensemen in the league, and his return can only mean good things for a Rangers team that currently boasts the best record in the league.
Prior to his injury earlier this month, Fox had appeared in 10 games this season and was producing over a point a game as a defenseman with 3 goals and 8 assists for a total of 11 points over that stretch of play.
