The Toronto Maple Leafs received a bit of a scare on Sunday, although as of right now it appears as though things aren't too serious.

Maple Leafs top prospect Fraser Minten was in action on Sunday as the Leafs prospects clashed against the prospects for the Montreal Canadiens as part of the National Hockey League's prospect tournament, and it resulted in Minten being shaken up early on during the course of the game.

Minten would take a shove to the back while skating towards a puck in the corner, resulting in him crashing awkwardly into the boards. To make matters worse, Minten appeared to be feeling the ill effects of the fall as he was slow to get back up to his skates.

According to a report from Nick Barden of The Hockey News, Minten was also not used in his regular spot on the team's power play towards the end of the first period. Mintren usually lines up alongside Easton Cowen which is a small cause for concern.

Update: Fraser Minten will not return to the game today, which may be a bit more of a cause for concern than originally reported.
