Flames could be forced into making goaltending move
Craig Conroy could be busy soon.

Calgary Flames general manager Craig Conroy has certainly had his work cut out for him so far in his first year on the job, having already traded Tyler Toffoli and Nikita Zadorov away.
And now, he may be faced with having to make a move to shore up the net after a reported injury to starter Jakob Markstrom during practice today.
Markstrom appeared to take a shot off an unprotected part of his blocker, and left the ice favoring his right hand. And apparently, he was bloodied:
His numbers have been anything but stellar this year, having racked up a 6-8-2 record so far in 2023 with a a 2.73 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage.
With backup Dan Vladar ready to step into the starter's position, the Flames could decide to call up 3rd stringer Dustin Wolf from the American Hockey League affiliate Calgary Wranglers. Calgary hosts the suddenly hot Minnesota Wild tomorrow night at the Scotiabank Saddledome starting at 9:00 PM EST.
