UPDATE: NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports that the Philadelphia Flyers are trading forwards Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee to the Calgary Flames in exchange for Andrei Kuzmenko and Jakob Pelletier. What else is part of the deal yet though, we still don't know.

Stay tuned for full details of the deal.

According to a report from NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Calgary Flames are working on a trade involving forward Andrei Kuzmenko and have held him out of the lineup for tonight's game against the Anaheim Ducks.

From Seravalli:

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports that the Philadelphia Flyers are the other team involved in the trade and that Jakob Pelletier is also part of the deal.

Further, TSN insider Darren Dreger reports that there's "more involved" to the trade than just Kuzmenko.

It's worth noting that Kuzmenko and Flyers rookie Matvei Michkov played together on a line with St. Petersburg in the KHL.

Incidentally, tomorrow is the one year anniversary of the Flames acquiring Kuzmenko from the Vancouver Canucks in a big trade that netted the Flames Kuzmenko, a 1st round pick, a 4th round pick and prospects Hunter Brzustewicz and Joni Jurmo in exchange for Elias Lindholm.
