Fight breaks out during Predators’ practice as frustration mounts!

With Nashville struggling, it was more than likely this was going to happen. See the video below:

The Nashville Predators had one heck of a summer, signing superstars like Steven Stamkos, Brady Skjei, and Jonathan Marchessault, but the results aren’t coming. Despite adding those starts to a roster already featuring the likes of Filip Forsberg, Roman Josi, and Juuse Saros, the Predators have been worse than the Penguins with a 6-11-3 record so far this season.

And players are getting frustrated. On Friday, team reporter Alex Daugherty caught a fight breaking out during practice in which Michael McCarron and Luke Evangelista were involved.

The incident occurred during a 2-on-2 drill near the end of practice as McCarron and Evangelista had to be separated. There were words exchanged and a shoving match following a hard hit during the drill.

As the reporter points out the fight wasn’t anything crazy, but it was easy to notice how angry Evangelista was with what had unfolded.

Both players skated away after the incident, but it was reported that McCarron and Evangelista exchanged more unfriendly words following the end of practice.

While McCarron left practice and did not make any comments afterwards, Evangelista expressed regret for the incident after the skate.

“We were doing the corner battle drill, but yeah I probably shouldn’t have done that. (McCarron’s) a good dude,” Evangelista said.

Some say that Evangelista has grown more frustrated especially since he was a healthy scratched for the first time this season on Wednesday.

Let’s hope they get back on track in time for tomorrow’s contest against the visiting Winnipeg Jets.
