Dzingel goes into the boards awkwardly after hit by Zadorov
Why was there no call?
HockeyFeed
Carolina Hurricanes forward Ryan Dzingel left tonight's game with help from teammates. Dzingel was pushed into the boards by Colorado's Nikita Zadorov with just over a minute left in the first period of tonight's game. There was no call on the play, something that had the announcers wondering why. Check it out. The top video is a shortened version, while the bottom one gives several different angles.
You can see Dzingel leaving the ice with the help of teammates but he's clearly favouring one of his legs. Amazingly, he did come back for the start of the second period. Dzingel has eight goals and 29 points for the Canes this season.
