Disgraced former NHL coach Bill Peters gets new job with Alberta junior team
Are we really sure that Peters is the right guy to be coaching teenagers?

According to Calgary based hockey reporter Rob Pederson, former Calgary Flames and Carolina Hurricanes coach Bill Peters has been hired by the AJHL’s Grand Prairie Storm.
Check it out:
For those not in the know, the Storm play in the Alberta Junior Hockey League a Junior-A league with 16 teams in the province of Alberta. It's a level below Major Junior (WHL, OHL, QMJHL) hockey and is often a league that teenagers play for in preparation for an NCAA career.
As for the Storm, the team went 22-30-8 this past season and failed to qualify for the playoffs.
Peters, of course, hasn't worked in North America since he resigned from his job as head coach of the Flames following a scandal in which he was alleged to have used racially charged language with former NHLer Akim Aliu during both Peters' and Aliu's time with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs.
Peters spent the past two seasons coaching in the KHL but unceremoniously fired from his position with Yekaterinburg Automobilist following the 2021 season.
