Devils get scare of a lifetime in warmup of Game 5

The puck is about to drop in Game 5 between the New Jersey Devils and Carolina Hurricanes and... well... if you have any friends or family members who are Devils fans you might want to check in on them. That's because the Devils and NHL insider Elliotte Friedman whipped everyone into a frenzy and likely caused some heart rates to rise be withholding superstar Jack Hughes from the lineup for warmups.

This, of course, led to widespread speculation that Hughes is injured and will not play this evening. 

But... not so.

Remarkably Hughes is in the official lineup and WILL play this evening.

So... what's this all about?

Just coach head games between Lindy Ruff and Rod Brind'Amour? If so, I'd tread lightly if I were Lindy. I'm not sure Rod The Bod is the guy I'd be looking to mess with...
