Dean Evason forced to make a last minute change due to injury.
Last minute substitution for the Wild.
The Minnesota Wild will be without one of their veteran forwards when they take on the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center on Sunday night.
Head coach Dean Evason has now confirmed that veteran forward Marcus Foligno will not be participating in tonight's game due to an injury. According to Evason, Foligno has suffered an upper body injury and will be replaced by Tyson Jost in the lineup.
"Marcus Foligno is not gonna play tonight," admitted Evason prior to the game. "He had an upper body injury that we'll evaluate, I don't have any more details than that. So Jost will draw in."
Obviously not an ideal situation for the Wild, but we will have to await the results of those tests before we know the severity of this injury.
