Connor Bedard gets smoked from behind after a dangerous play on Erik Cernak
And Tyler Bertuzzi steps in to defend the young superstar.
Connor Bedard was all over the scoresheet in Tampa tonight.
Bedard scored an absolutely insane goal (covered in our earlier report down below), but he also managed to get under the skin of the Tampa Bay Lighting in the Chicago Blackhawks' 4-1 win this evening.
Check out Bedard getting run into the end boards by Lightning forward Michael Eyssimont after a late trip on Lightning defenseman Erik Cernak.
Gotta love Tyler Bertuzzi stepping in to to defend the youngster.

It's official, Connor Bedard is cracked.
The 19 year old Chicago Blackhawks forward scored an absolutely ridiculous goal this evening against Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevsky.
Check it out:
Sick, sick, sick stuff right there from a very talented teenager.

Chicago Blackhawks veteran Nick Foligno won't stand for any diving nonsense.
Early on in tonight's game between the Blackhawks and the Tampa Bay Lightning and Foligno took exception to Girgensons perceived dive after the pair collided at center ice.
So... he did what he always does: He took matters into his own hands.
Watch Foligno absolutely clock Girgensons on the button after mocking him for a brutal dive:
Love this!
It's on the players to call out this type of unsportsmanlike behavior! That's real veteran leadership from Foligno, showing his young teammates that that sort of play is not acceptable.
