Chris Kreider stuns the Hurricanes with a 3rd period hat-trick
A natural hat-trick!!!
Chris Kreider has given the New York Rangers a 4-3 lead in Game 6 of his team's second round playoff series against the Carolina Hurricanes.
In fact, not only has Kreider given his team the lead, he also single-handedly brought them back to even. Kreider has scored a natural hat trick in the 3rd period to take the Rangers from down 3-1 to up 4-3 late in the third.

This just in, it appears that forward Filip Chytil will NOT play for the New York Rangers this evening in Game 6 against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Rangers insider Larry Brooks reports that neither Chytil nor veteran Blake Wheeler are in the lineup for warmup, with Jonny Brodzinski and Matt Rempe taking the final two forward positions.
