Arena announcer attacks referee in Quebec senior league
A classic bush league moment!

I don't have much context to add to this story, but after sifting through a few French language websites out of Quebec, I've managed to surmise that an in-arena announcer attacked a referee at a Quebec senior league game when he did not agree with a ruling on the ice.
From Katia Laflamme, TVA Nouvelles, translated from French:
A house announcer physically attacked referees because he was not satisfied with their decisions on Sunday during a senior hockey league game in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts in Gaspésie.
The incident occurred during the third period when the Mont-Joli team was leading the game. The announcer asked the head referee to impose an additional penalty on a player from the lead team because, in his opinion, the player had left the penalty bench too soon. The referee consulted with the other officials who decided not to impose the penalty.
That's when the announcer decided to jump on the ice to attack a referee. Players and other referees intervened to break up the fight.
Security guards were called in as well as police officers.
The Sûreté du Québec confirmed that a complaint had been filed and that the man was questioned and then released on a promise to appear.
