William Nylander avoids serious injury after dirty hit
Yet somehow, there was no penalty.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have now suffered back to back losses for the first time dating back to the postseason last spring, falling last night to the Florida Panthers by a 2-1 final score at Amerant Bank Arena.
However, it was one particular play over the course of the game that had Leafs fans everywhere holding their collective breath, as forward William Nylander was sent head first into the boards in the corner by Dmitri Kulikov. He was slow to get up and make his way to the bench, and somehow, there was no penalty called.
The good news for Nylander is that he was able to tough it out and remain in the game, but an eye will have to be kept on him to make sure that he didn't suffer any long term effect from the hit.
