Wild issue a concerning report on superstar Kirill Kaprizov
Yikes... the NHL is just better with this guy around.
This just in, the Minnesota Wild have announced that they have re-moved superstar Kirill Kaprizov back to long-term injured reserve just a day after removing him from long-term injured reserve.
The Russian forward hasn't played a game since December 23rd and completed the 2024 calendar year as the NHL's top scoring forward, tying Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart with 46 goals on the calendar year.
Obviously, losing Kaprizov has been a huge blow to the Wild, but yesterday's news gave some optimism that he might be ready to return. He had been a a Hart Trophy candidate as the NHL's MVP this season with 23 goals and 50 points in 34 games when he went down with injury.
