With the National Hockey League Trade Deadline quickly approaching, Minnesota Wild general manager Bill Guerin has decided to keep one of his assets that was up for a new contract this summer.
According to multiple reports, the Wild have re-signed defenseman Zach Bogosian to a new two-year contract that carries an AAV of $1.25 million.
The rugged blue liner has scored a goal with eight assists in 47 games played with the Wild this season. He started the year with the Tampa Bay Lightning before being dealt to the Wild this past November. He's also played for the Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets, Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs.
