We now know exactly what happened and what was said between DeAngelo and Georgiev that got DeAngelo kicked off the Rangers
Ooooooh! That's spicy!

Former New York Rangers defenseman Tony DeAngelo makes is long awaited return to Madison Square Garden this evening with his Carolina Hurricanes in town to face the Rangers.
DeAngelo, of course, left the Rangers under trying circumstances after he was essentially kicked off the team and bought out of his contract following an alleged altercation with teammate Alexandar Georgiev. In fact, thanks to a report from Rangers insider Arthur Staple we now know EXACTLY what transpired between DeAngelo and Georgiev that facilitated DeAngelo's exit from the Rangers.
From Staple's most recent column for The Athletic:
Oh... and if you think DeAngelo has learned from things... think again. He's already made himself the victim in his own mind.
Again from Staple:
This guy is a total clown...
So... what kind of reception does DeAngelo expect when he arrives back in the Big Apple tonight? Frankly, he couldn't care less.
Something tells me that's not entirely true. DeAngelo seems to care a LOT about what other people think about him... so much so that he allegedly created fake social media profiles just to pump his own tires.
