We finally know what Tristan Jarry said to piss off Brad Marchand
Oh, Marchand is not going to hear this end of this…

National Hockey League commissioner Gary Bettman announced Friday that Brad Marchand’s six-game suspension will be upheld.
The Boston Bruins forward was suspended for six games on Feb. 9 for roughing and high-sticking Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry. Marchand can appeal to independent arbitrator if he wishes.
The Bruins forward was quick to react that his actions did not deserve the lengthy suspension he received. However, we all know he has a reputation and is a repeat offender. Just this season, he was suspended in November for three games for slew-footing Vancouver Canucks defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
In his appeal, Marchand reportedly mentioned that it was stupid of him to pull the move, though he and NHLPA argued suspension was excessive based on punishment (or non-punishment for other, similar issues), per Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
The ruling then revealed what Jarry said to Marchand to piss him off, admitting that he went after Jarry when the Penguins goalie commented “how about that f—ing save?” Marchand admitted that “my emotions got the best of me and I made a poor decision.” He “readily admitted” to attacking Jarry and called his conduct “stupid”, but we all remember when Marchand once said : “So if that is now what is setting guys over the edge, then this is the softest league in the world.”
Geez, Marchand, it does not take you much. It remains to be seen if the Bruins’ pest will now turn to an independent arbitrator.
