VIDEO: St. Louis Blues coach Craig Berube fired up in dressing room!
Think he's excited?
In what was one of the most exciting games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs thus far, the St. Louis Blues were able to stave off elimination last night agains the Colorado Avalanche and force a Game 6 back at Enterprise Center tomorrow.
It was veteran forward Tyler Bozak with the game-winning goal shortly into overtime that gave the Blues another chance at life, after they'd already mounted a comeback from 0-3 and 4-3 deficits, the latter of which was scored by Robert Thomas with just under a minute remaining in regulation.
And afterwards, you could say that Blues head coach Craig Berube was fired up in the dressing room. Just take a look for yourself:
You think he's fired up?
Of course, Berube had come under fire along with the rest of the Blues organization for not addressing some of the racially-motivated threats being made against Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri, who's collision with goaltender Jordan Binnington in Game 3 of the series knocked him out of action long-term.
Berube would finally sound off on those threats, calling them "unacceptable" prior to Game 5.
"I just want to comment on my 'no comment' the other day," Berube said before Game 5 in Denver. "I'm not on social media. I was aware of a threat made to Nazem. Not the racist stuff. In no way is it acceptable by the St. Louis Blues or anybody else for him to have to go through that."
Game 6 between the two teams is tomorrow night starting at 8:00 PM EST.
