Vegas Golden Knights commit major faux pas against Nolan Patrick
Was this a low blow?

The Vegas Golden Knights put the finishing touches on their first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history last month, defeating the Florida Panthers in dominating fashion in five games and also absolutely lighting up goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky in the process.
For several members of the Golden Knights, it was their first Cup win of their careers. For others like Alex Pietrangelo and Phil Kessel, they got to re-live their own past glory by earning yet another championship ring. Additionally, every player and coach has already had their names engraved on the famed trophy - except for one notable forward.
Nolan Patrick, whom Vegas acquired prior to the 2021-22 season, had his name conspicuously not included along with the rest of his teammates on the Cup:
Now it is true that Patrick did not meet the requirements needed for his name being engraved on the Cup. He didn't appear in a single regular season or postseason game for Vegas in 2022-23; the requirement is at least 41 regular season games or one postseason game.
Unfortunately for Patrick, his career could be over thanks to his constant battles against concussions. In 222 career games with the Golden Knights and Philadelphia Flyers, by whom he was drafted 2nd overall in the 2017 NHL Draft, has scored 32 goals and 45 assists.
