Utah HC unveils new 'fan friendly' menu pricing

$3 hot dogs!? I'm a fan of this team already!

The Utah Hockey Club has announced a very 'fan friendly' menu of concessions prices at the Delta Center for the team's inaugural season to rave reviews.

The menu features $3 food items and $2 water bottles. For just $3 fans case choose popcorn, nachos, hot dogs or ice cream cones.

This menu will also be in affect for the NBA's Utah Jazz all season long, as well.

“Today marks an unprecedented step in our continuous commitment to elevating the fan experience at Delta Center,” said Chris Barney, president of revenue and commercial strategy for Smith Entertainment Group. “By introducing fan-favorite concessions at incredible prices, we’re showing fans that we are listening to their needs, and, there is no better time than now to take this step as more people than ever will attend games at Delta Center this season, as we prepare to host over 80 nights of sports entertainment between the Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club.”

Kudos to Utah for putting their fans first. It costs so much these days just to get into a pro hockey or basketball game and to be gouged at the concessions has become all too familiar. I truly hope that this trend catches on with other NHL teams.
