Trouba looking at a suspension after dirty hit on Toffoli last night

In case you missed it last night, the New York Rangers' awful pre-season performance continued. The Blueshirts dropped a 5-2 decision to the New Jersey Devils and did not look good in doing so.

Scoring forwards like Mika Zibanejad, Kaapo Kakko and  Blake Wheeler were invisible, backup goaltender Jonathan Quick was awful and captain Jacob Trouba was throwing bad hits all over the ice. In some ways, the Rangers appeared in mid-season form, if we're talking about last season when they took until the trade deadline to finally get some momentum.

After the game all the talk was about Trouba and if he'd face any supplemental discipline for taking out Tyler Toffoli with a dirty hit from behind.
