Some fans have been surprised to see that both Viktor Arvidsson and Elias Lindholm have been named in the squad despite their poor start to the 2024-25 season. We understand that their defensive talent and their ability to play in various situations weighed heavily in the balance.

Unfortunately for William Eklund and his Sharks teammate Fabian Zetterlund, they were ignored despite their good season so far in San Jose.
