Tanner Jeannot destroys Riley Stillman in his first fight as a Bolt!
Stillman bites off more than he can chew.
Buffalo Sabres defenseman Riley Stillman tried to make an impression on his new team on Saturday, but unfortunately things turned out about as poorly as they could when Stillman bit off more than he could chew.
Stillman and the Sabres were facing off against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday afternoon and the man he picked to make his stand against was newly acquired Lightning forward Tanner Jeannot. Jeannot, who is no stranger to dropping the gloves, was likely looking to make an impression of his own after the Lightning coughed up a treasure trove of draft picks to acquire him, and unfortunately that would come at the expense of Stillman.
There's no question about who emerged the victor here, Jeannot would drop Stillman with a devastating uppercut that left Stillman barely clinging to consciousness.
Hopefully Stillman is going to be ok.
