Strange new job for P.K. Subban!
This is somewhat unexpected for the former defenseman…but after all, Subban can do it all!

P.K. Subban wants to do it all. Over the past few days, the former NHL defenseman and now ESPN hockey analyst has been spotted in and around the Calgary Stampede. Not only as a VIP guest, but as an employee.
On Wednesday, Subban attended the Cowboys Music Festival and lend as hand as a security guard, dressed in full attire that match his festive cowboy hat. The security gear included a customized vest with his name and jersey number, which earned him quite the compliment from Canadian artist and festival headliner Nelly Furtado in the comment section of Subban’s Instagram post:
“This uniform is kinda doing it for me.” The picture was captioned “Gotta pay my bar tab somehow,” and Subban also shared a video of his duties as security guard on Twitter.
And, when in Calgary, the former NHL defenseman, who never played for the local team, can be heard casually dropping a “Go Flames.”
Subban posted other pictures of the Stampede, as he appeared to have been enjoying the festivities since Monday. He is likely to stay until the rodeo’s conclusion on Sunday, July 16.
We hope he has a blast, not only working as security, but with the Flames’ faithfuls as well.
