Star forward boycotts media as he faces his former team!

There is always a sense of rivalry when you are facing your former club. Players want to win against the team they left, proving they remain a great player and too bad for that team that let him go... However, when it comes to Alexander Radulov and the Montreal Canadiens, his weird attitude prior to tonight's game between the two clubs just seems weird. 

According to many media members in Montreal, Radulov decided to boycott them ahead of the contest tonight. 

The Stars forward is making a return to action, after he missed the previous four games with a lower-body injury. Radulov has not played since Oct. 16 in New Jersey, and former linemates Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin did not score a goal without him in the lineup. On Tuesday night in Montreal, Stars coach Jim Montgomery said he would separate Benn and Seguin to try to jump-start their offense. Radulov will rejoin Seguin, with Justin Dowling on the other wing. Benn will play with center Jason Spezza and winger Mattias Janmark. The Stars will look to get back to their winning ways... 

While the head coach answered all of these questions, nothing could be heard from the Russian sniper, who simply ignored the fact that Montreal media members wanted to hear from the former Habs forward. 

It seems quite odd signing that it was in the summer of 2017 that Radulov decided to sign with the Stars. After posting 18-36-54 totals in 76 games with the Canadiens during the 2016-17 season, Radulov left for Dallas as a free agent, signing a five-year contract worth $31.25 million with an annual salary-cap hit of $6.25 million.

In Montreal, while some people stick to things like this, no one expected to see Radulov boycott media members. He was always a fun and extroverted player on the Habs' roster and we guess people were excited to see him back in town. 

Anyways, maybe Radulov is taking Columbus Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella's advice and looking to add more hate to the game. Last week, Torts complained that former teammates were too friendly prior to games and maybe Radulov is only trying to channel as much hate as possible ahead of tonight's game.
