St. Louis Blues get brutal news on D Torey Krug
Well, this isn't what the Blues needed.
With the Stanley Cup Playoffs right around the corner, the St. Louis Blues are going to need all hands on deck if they have any intention of making a run like they did in 2019.
However, that's not going to be the case, as they'll be without the services of a valuable member of their blue line for the foreseeable future.
Defenseman Torey Krug will be "week to week" after leaving Tuesday's game against the Washington Capitals with an upper body injury, which occurred midway through the 2nd period; Krug completed the play but then immediately left the bench towards the locker room.
In 57 games this season, Krug has eight goals and 27 assists.
