The Flyers are also retaining 50% of Laughton's salary. The veteran player is still under contract for one year, at $3 million AAV, meaning he comes in Toronto at a very affordable $1.5 mil.Â
Laughton has spent his entire 12-year career with the Flyers. He has 11 goals and 16 assists in 60 games this season.
When he was reached by TSN and asked if he had spoken with Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving, Laughton answered that he hadn’t had the chance yet and had yet to announce the trade to his own mother.
The Flyers are getting Grebenkin, who has played in 7 games during the 2025 regular season, but he has not recorded any goals, assists, or points.
