Schenn admits that it was his idea for epic fight with Foligno at Winter Classic
Schenner might be regretting his decision now!
UPDATE 2: St. Louis Blues captain Brayden Schenn now admits that it was actually his idea to throw down with Chicago Blues captain Nick Foligno at center ice (field?) during the Winter Classic today at Wrigley Field.
With the Blackhawks down 5-1 late in the 2nd period, it was believed that Foligno initiated the scrap with Schenn in an effort to give his team some momentum. But in actuality it was Schenn who asked Foligno to go and his reasoning is pretty funny.
From the Blues captain himself:
"An unreal night," said Schenn.
Indeed it was... if you're not a Blackhawks fan, at least.

UPDATE: Fowler's got two goals now and Blackhawks captain Nick Foligno ain't happy about it.
Foligno squared off with Blues captain Brayden Schenn at center ice, giving Blackhawks fans something to cheer for in this lopsided game.

That's hockey, baby!

The puck had barely dropped on the Winter Classic when Cam Fowler decided to damper the mood in Chicago.
With over 40,000 rabid Chicago Blackhawks fans causing a ruckus at Wrigley Field, the St. Louis Blues veteran defenseman shut them up pretty quickly.
Fowler scored the game's opening goal just 1:40 into the game... his 1,000th NHL game.

Grab that puck! That's one to put on the fireplace mantle at home!
