Rumor: Dahlin met with Sabres GM and threatened to leave the team!
The captain has had enough of the situation in Buffalo!
According to a report from Paul Bissonnette of TNT and the Spittin' Chiclets podcast, Buffalo Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin has threatened to leave his team.
Bissonnette reports that Dahlin approached Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams and said, "If this doesn't turn around fast, I'm gone."

The 24 year old Dahlin is personally having another outstanding season with the Sabres, despite the team falling short of expectation. The big Swede has 11 goals and 51 points in 55 games and is sporting a positive stat in his +/- for the first time in his NHL career.
He's in just the first year of a massive eight year contract that pays him $11 million annually. As good a player as Dahlin is and as great of a deal as his contract may end up being, it's difficult to move such an onerous contract. Then again, Adams himself managed to move Jack Eichel when he was two years into his eight year contract, so it's not impossible.
Either way, it's clear that things have to change in Buffalo... but we've been saying that for over a decade now...
