The Toronto Maple Leafs are making adjustments in an effort to get their season back on the right track, with changes made to both the team's roster and lineup on Monday.

The Leafs kicked off those changes by announcing that forward Nicholas Robertson was receiving a call up from the Toronto Marlies with forward Pontus Holmberg being sent down in a corresponding move.

Robertson has been producing in the American Hockey League this season with 5 goals and 6 assists for a total of 11 points in his first 9 games of the season with the Toronto Marlies. The Leafs have been looking for more out of their bottom 6 forwards and it seems clear that the decision to call up Robertson has been made with that goal in mind.

Robertson will join recently acquired Leafs forward Max Domi on the third line this evening, with head coach Sheldon Keefe likely hoping that Robertson will be able to find some chemistry with his new teammate.

That isn't the only change to the lineup this evening however with Simon Benoit scheduled to make his Maple Leafs debut this evening. Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed on Monday that Benoit will be inserted into the lineup this evening, and furthermore that he will be replacing defenseman Jake McCabe in the lineup.
