Report: Patrick Marleau’s son was almost kidnapped

Patrick Marleau and his family are in our thoughts. The wife of the former NHLer Christina revealed on social media that their son Brody was almost kidnapped on Tuesday night.

She explained what happened in a series of tweets that will make the hair stand on the back of your neck!

“Our son was almost kidnapped tonight. And I need to thank the Headlam family from Louisiana, the mom Jessica and dad saved Brody from a couple who was following him. Brody had gone down to the hotel pool to grab his sunglasses he had forgot.

“A woman started to follow him around, asking hi questions, getting closer and closer. She was soon reaching out for him, trying to get him to go with her and her partner. Another family saw this happening and saved him. I owe them a thank you I can not even describe.”

This is insane!

The Marleau have four sons. We can only imagine how thankful they are that another family witnessed the attempted kidnapping and make sure Brody was back safely with his parents.
